Your PAN Application Status

  1. Authentication of Aadhaar given in your PAN application with UIDAI Database using demographic details (name/date of birth/Gender) given in your PAN application has failed.
    • You are advised to provide necessary clarification for processing of your application with Aadhaar within one month of the intimation. Alternatively, you may submit prescribed Proof of Identity/Addres /Date of Birth document other than Aadhaar to process your application without Aadhaar.

  2. The name mentioned in the application form does not exactly match with the name in the Proof of Residential Address.
    • Submit proof of residential address where name in application exactly matches with name in proof.

  3. Name mentioned in the application does not exactly match with the name in Proof of Identity.
    • Submit proof of identity where name in application exactly matches with name in proof.

  4. Proof of date of birth submitted is not as per the list of documents prescribed by Income Tax Department.
    • Submit Date of birth proof of applicant where name and date of birth in application matches exactly with corresponding details in date of birth proof.
